At Camron's first doctor visit last Friday, we discovered a little bump on his back. It's not a tail, it's up a little higher than that. And it's right next to his spine. It doesn't seem to be causing him any pain.....but the doctor wanted an ultrasound to see what it is (an ultrasound is safer than an X-ray for babies).
So today, Aunt Elizabeth helped us get to Hamot Hospital's radiology department for the ultrasound. Amazingly, Camron laid on his belly and didn't make a peep the whole time. The nurse...or sonographer....whatever the correct title is for people who do the sonogram....saw something there that wasn't his vertabrae...but we won't know for sure until the radiology doctor reads it. Then he will call Camron's doctor and then they will call us. That seems like a lot of work, why can't the doctor just come in and look at it!?

hmmm, isn't that the place where they gave him a spinal tap? maybe it's a reaction to the needle? or the meds? aunt elizabeth was so nice to help out....she may be the next "aunt maura"!!
HEY! There's only ONE Aunt Maura and I'm it! I may not be close, but I'm not ready to give up the reigns yet!
I hope everything comes out ok. I just got the pictures you sent today. Jack takes after his great Aunt...he's sooooo cute!
