Camron May, Roll on down!!!

At the end of this week, Camron will be 6 months old. Time flies, and things are happening quickly! For the last few weeks, he has been practicing his rolls. A little hesitant at first, he went from back to belly. He did the first roll at the babysitters house :( But then a few days later, he rolled for me too. Then about a week later he was rolling all over the room from back to belly then belly to back, as if he knew that if he kept going he would make it somewhere!

He's also enjoying his puppy Roody's company very much. Whenever Roody crossed his path, he giggles up a storm. When Roo comes over to sniff out what was for snack, Camron pets him and pulls on his ears. Roody doesn't care one bit, although I am always careful and watching closely. Roody even likes to lay next to Camo when he's playing on the floor now :)
We also finished all of the vegetables for dinner. Peas, squash and carrots, all yummy! Now we're trying out the fruits, starting with applesauce. It took a few extra bites to start liking that, I think it may be a little bitter compared to the veggies, but still a yummy! (I've been keeping track of yummies vs. yuckies). I also tried to give him a little juice today in his sippy cup....he was willing to hold the cup by the handles, and he knew how to get it from his mouth, but still needs to work on tipping it up. So I helped, but then that must have tasted too bitter too...maybe we'll wait a little longer :)

Yesterday we went to Jillian and Shane's wedding, it was Camron's first formal event! Since his Daddy and I were both in the wedding party wearing a black polo and khaki's and a black dress, I tried to find something he could wear that would match us. How lucky, I found a black onesie with the tuxedo print on it! He looked so adorable "all dressed up" !

I'm taking him to get new pictures done next weekend on his 6 month birthday. I can't believe it's been 6 months already.....

Camron rolled all over my living room floor the other day. He's learning and growing so fast. I am excited to see what he'll do next, but sad to see "baby" leave too quickly! He has a smile that just makes my heart dance!

I'm so glad I was able to spend a little time with him before he started growing up! I was just there a couple weeks ago, but he's already getting so big! (sigh)...At least we'll always have "touching nature".
